The jersey is set to make its debut in Borussia Dortmund’s final home game of the current German Bundesliga season, against Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
The 2022/2023 Dortmund kit which is manufactured by sportswear giants Puma, is predominantly ‘Cyber Yellow’. Cyber Yellow is the same colour used for previous BVB league home shirts made by Puma. The standout feature of the BVB 2022/2023 home jersey is the four black stripes, which appear on the front of the shirt and also feature a subtle geometric pattern on the inside. The stripes are interrupted in the center, around the sponsor logo box.
According to Puma, the striped look of the Dortmund 2022/2023 home shirt is inspired by the 2012/2013 Champions League season, which was contested in a striped home shirt. Taking further inspiration from the club’s rich history, the stripes carry a subtle pattern that is based on the Wildschütz, a legendary restaurant in Dortmund and the place where the club was founded in 1909.

Completing the look of the new Dortmund home kit, which is based on the Puma Ultraweave template, are a simple black crew-neck collar and black sleeve cuffs. Black and yellow shorts and socks are available. The first choice option are black shorts and yellow socks.
The BVB 2022/2023 home kit was officially launched on Friday May 13th, 2022.
