Personal computer(PC) manufacturer Zotac has used Computex 2022 this week to unveil a new pocket-friendly desktop PC, and I'm not talking about the price.

The Zbox PI336 Pico(Opens in a new window) is a tiny, passively-cooled Windows 11 PC. Measuring just 4.6-by-3-by-0.8-inches, it will easily fit in a shirt or jeans pocket. The PI336 ships with Windows 11 Pro preinstalled, and is powered by an Intel Celeron N6211 dual-core processor with UHD Graphics (running at 1.2GHz and boosting to 3GHz) and paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

Storage comes in the form of a 128GB eMMC drive, and connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.2, three USB 3.1 Gen2 ports including one Type-C port, a headphone/microphone combo jack, and Micro SDHC card reader.

Although it's not going to break any performance records and is sure to get quite hot under sustained heavy workloads, Zotac says the PI336 can cope with a dual display setup using the included HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, both of which support up to 2160p resolutions.

If you don't want to carry this tiny PC around, Zotac includes a mounting bracket and screws to hide it on the back of a monitor. Zotac also includes a USB flash drive for OS recovery, which is a refreshing accessory to have ship as standard. Potential owners will also be happy to hear the AC adaptor doesn't have a brick, it's just a slightly bulkier wall plug.

Zotac hasn't revealed the price or when this tiny PC will launch, but for reference, the previous model Zbox PI335 Pico running Windows 10 Pro was priced at $229.99. I suspect the price of the PI336 will be slightly higher due to electronics manufacturers planning to raise prices by 20% or more soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see Zotac launch the PI336 at $279.99.
