Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has landed a brand ambassadorship deal with Michael Jordan’s Jumpman collection.

Rema, famous for hits like “Calm Down,” joined a group of talented individuals in a new commercial to promote the release of Jumpman 23.

This exciting development comes on the heels of his performance at the 2023 Ballon d’Or awards, further solidifying his rise in the music industry as well as his collaboration with the Sports industry.

In a social media post, Rema expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m now with the Jordan family at age 23, the irony,” along with a video of the new commercial.

Rema is in excellent company, as other top stars like NBA players Zion Williamson, Jason Tatum, and Luka Doncic, along with entertainer Teyana Taylor, are also part of the Jumpman Collection team.

Rema’s chart-topping track “Calm Down,” featuring American singer Selena Gomez, has garnered global acclaim. He previously performed at the NBA All-Star game and recently graced the stage at the Ballon d’Or awards.
