Addressing her supporters after receiving medical attention, Asantewaa, visibly fatigued but triumphant, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to her singathon attempt. The event garnered widespread support from musicians, politicians, and security officials.

"This achievement was a dream visualized in just five days. I don't even remember how it started, not to talk of how it ended," Asantewaa shared. She hopes her accomplishment inspires women and youth across the country to embrace new opportunities.

Medical Considerations Prompt Early Conclusion

"While we would have loved for her to continue until noon today, as a medical team, we want to put a hold to it and protect Afua as much as we can. Fatigue has set in, and we need to ensure she bounces back and addresses all of us," Dr. Buckman stated.

Thanksgiving Event Tonight

As a token of appreciation, Afua Asantewaa will host an all-white thanksgiving event at 6 pm at the same venue. The celebration aims to recognize the support received from various stakeholders during her remarkable singing marathon.
