Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has won Artiste Of The Year on the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) that took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 1, 2024, marking a spectacular evening of music, recognition, and celebration. The event was a vibrant showcase of Ghana’s musical talent, with electrifying performances and well-deserved awards.
Before been crowned Artiste Of The Year, Stonebwoy won the following categories; Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best International Collaboration Of The Year, Songwriter Of The Year, and Reggae-Dancehall Artiste Of The Year,

The night kicked off with an energetic performance by King Promise, setting an upbeat tone for the evening. Esteemed hosts Chris Attoh and Naa Ashorkor then took the stage, guiding the audience through the night’s festivities. The results, meticulously verified and sealed by KPMG, added an element of anticipation and excitement.
King Promise’s opening act was followed by standout performances from artists like Kwesi Amewuga, who won the Unsung Category, the FRA! Band, Efya and King Paluta also delivered memorable performances, with King Paluta’s rendition of “Aseda” leaving a lasting impression. Stonebwoy raised the bar further high with an epic performance to leave a lasting memory in the minds of the patrons.

A tribute to Amakye Dede, awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, featured performances by Kwabena Kwabena, Akwaboah, Eno Barony, Fameye, and Epixode.
