Ghana Head Coach Otto Addo has named a 23-man Black Stars squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
Turkey based Kingsley Schindler, Majeed Ashimeru of Anderlecht, Winger Joseph Painstil and Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams have made a return to the squad after missing out on the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic in June.
Also in the squad are Brighton and Hove Albion full back Tariq Lamptey and Cercle Brugge midfielder Francis Abu.
The Black Stars will open camp in Accra on Sunday, September 1, 2024 in readiness for the double header against Angola and Niger. Ghana will host Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5, before traveling to Berkane - Morocco to take on Niger on Monday, September 9, 2024.
