Nearly 17,000 athletes and members of the Olympic community have received the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition at the Olympic rendezvous at Samsung showcase in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Village.
The Paris 2024 Olympic Edition phone is a special variant of the Galaxy Z Flip6, unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked in July. Samsung collaborated closely with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to ensure timely delivery to all Paris 2024 athletes ahead of the official market launch. This required a specialized and secure transport program.

This custom-built smartphone is designed to enhance athletes’ experience during the Games and is the first Olympic Edition to feature Galaxy AI. It comes pre-loaded with exclusive services and apps, including an eSIM with 100GB of 5G data, an unlimited complimentary public transport access card, and several official Olympic apps to help athletes explore new experiences and connect with others while in Paris.
